帕那哈撤 Panajachel 是阿蒂蘭湖 Lago de Atitlán 的交通轉運中心，遊客搭乘巴士來到本地，再換乘舢舨（小艇 Lancha ）前往湖畔各聚落。
Panajachel 相對來講較為平坦的街道則是吸引西方人來此長住 Long Stay 的主要原因，Lago de Atitlán 湖畔其他原住民小鎮則都是座落在山坡上。
Panajachel 有兩個渡船 ( Lancha )碼頭，北側（西側）有一座主碼頭 The Main Pier，靠近 Calle del Embarcadero（街道名稱） ，主要提供各湖畔小鎮的交通轉運。
主碼頭地處偏僻，距離市中心較遠，遊客若是第一次由瓜地馬拉其他城鎮搭乘巴士來到本地，可能不容易找到主碼頭位置。
南側（東側）是另一座觀光碼頭，靠近 Calle Del Rio，西班牙文 Rio 是河流的意思，Calle Del Rio 再往南（東）行約 50公尺就是 Rio Panajachel。觀光碼頭主要功能則是提供遊客觀賞阿蒂蘭湖Lago de Atitlán，這裡因為遊客聚集，熱鬧許多。
觀光碼頭亦有掮客招呼；搭船前往湖畔各聚落，只是要湊足一定人數才會開船，若是運氣不佳，可能要等待一個小時以上。

Panajachel (Pana) is a town in the southwestern Guatemalan Highlands, less than 90 miles from Guatemala City, in the department of Sololá. The elevation is 1,597 metres (5,240 ft). Population is around 15,000. The town of Panajachel is located on the Northeast shore of Lake Atitlán, and has become a centre for the tourist trade of the area as it provides a base for visitors crossing the lake to visit other towns and villages.
"Panajachel" derives from the Kaqchikel language and roughly translates to "place of the Matasanos," the white sapote fruit tree.
